Welcome to the Rekindle digital walk of Stewart Park. Turn left down the footpath in front of you and then turn right at the end of the path.

The parkland and Marton Hall were sold to Middlesbrough in 1923 by Henry Bolckow's son. The man behind the purchase was Councillor Thomas Dormand Stewart who opened it as a park for the people of the town in 1928. Thomas and his wife are pictured below.
